You're invited to Inspiration, Of Course!, CCAE’s Annual Spring Party, on Thursday, June 6th 5:30pm to 8pm at the Blacksmith House on 56 Brattle Street.

Some of the best eateries across Cambridge will serve a delectable, chef-selected bite at this year's annual spring party. Surrounded by live music and vibrant conversation you can look forward to sampling the flavors that are inspiring some of your favorite chefs in Harvard Square and beyond.

Delicious bites from: Felipe's Taqueria, Harvest, Honeycomb Creamery, Mamaleh's Delicatessen, Mimi's Chūka Diner, Nirvana The Taste of India, SOURCE, and Pammy's. Beverages provided by: 90+ Cellars, Samuel Adams Brewery, and Urban Pharm.

The dollars raised from Inspiration, Of Course! will help to fund our scholarship program, maintain our historical buildings, and support our expert staff and host of instructors as they carry out CCAE's distinguished programs.

This spring, Cambridge Center for Adult Education presents the sixth annual Berta Golahny Awards and Recent Works Exhibition. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, April 19 at 42 Brattle Street. We invite CCAE community members to appreciate a competitive selection of student artwork, enjoy light refreshments, and celebrate the Visual Arts and Crafts department at CCAE. Additionally, three CCAE students will receive the Berta Golahny Student Award for artistic excellence. This year's Berta Golahny Awards jury includes Amy Golahny, professor at Boston College and Richmond Professor of Art History Emerita at Lycoming College; Bryan Ramey, Program Director of Visual Arts at CCAE; and annual guest juror Bahareh Safarani, artist and instructor at CCAE.

“Inclusive, fun approach to learning a difficult subject. Joan [Brunetta] had a lot of little things - declension songs, memorization aids, a great way to use flash cards - that were unique to her and made studying easier. There was just enough rigor, without being overwhelming. This class was a lot of fun. There was a great camaraderie among the students and with the teacher. We all learned a lot in a non-threatening context.”

Tim S., Salvete Romani: Latin Beginner Level 1

“Natalia [Slattery] did a great job! She demonstrates and explains what she is doing in a very clear way. She was well prepared and sent excellent material to everyone before the class. Now I can go back and review everything she covered. The class was an excellent combination of demonstration and hands-on experience. ”

Martha B., Digital Collage: Creating Composite Images in Adobe Photoshop

“Ploy [Khunisorn] is a great teacher! Her ability to cover a vast amount of information and help students create several dishes in their own kitchens, all in an absolutely choreographed, simple manner is amazing. She is always kind and supportive and answers all questions, making sure she loses no students along the way. It's a joy to share her kitchen!!”

Claudia W., Korean Kitchen

Jane [Katims]'s selection of stories is exciting, gratifying and sometimes challenging! It's like a mini-vacation and a lot of fun everytime we meet! I love it! Everyone was able to express themselves thoughtfully and respectfully through a variety of story subjects.”

Robert N., Self-Exploration Through Literature
