Susan Franz teaches courses in computer arts at The Cambridge Center and at Becker College in Worcester, MA. She has taught previously at The Rhode Island School of Design. She is currently the principal designer of Miraweb Design and a popular local speaker. In her more than 15 years of experience in web technologies she has worked for top technology companies including Cambridge Technology Partners and Akamai Technologies.

This foundation course is a prerequisite for students taking PC courses who do not know how to effectively navigate Windows and manage programs, files, and folders. We will learn the basic skills necessary for using Windows and Windows programs, with special attention paid to understanding, opening, saving, copying, moving, finding, and managing files. We will also cover the tasks of basic computer maintenance and the customization of Windows to meet individual needs. Limited to 12.
