Experience the delight and pleasure of Indian cuisine with this hands-on class. India is a vast subcontinent with superb regional cuisines. A selection of dishes from various geographic areas, including but not limited to the South and the North, are combined to present a complete dinner. The course features an emphasis on vegetarian cooking, as well as a simple, authentic, and healthy home-cooked approach that accommodates both hot and mild palates. Historical, cultural, and regional factors that have shaped this magical cuisine will be briefly presented. At the end we will enjoy a feast of dishes we prepared. Please bring an apron; you will jump in and start cooking right away. Limited to 16.
