Antonette Galasso
Toni Galasso is a native Neopolitan. Raised in this country, she spent her summers in Italy with family, where her love oftraditional Italian cooking started. Her paternal grandfather was a chef that at one time cooked for theKing of Italy, and later was the personal chef of the king's cousin, a countess in Naples. Toni trained asan apprentice with a variety of cooks throughout Italy, and still travels there to learn the never-ending cuisine of Italy. Toni has taught at many adult education schools in the area, and has been with the Cambridge Center for 17 years. Toni teaches cooking, caters intimate events, and is a personal chef. She lives in West Somerville with her husband Eric Bornstein and son Julian Bornstein.

Come learn the Italian secret to warming a cold evening - enticing soups and stews. We will learn to make the traditional soups of the Italian countryside: minestra, garlic soup, stracciatela, tuscan bean, potato soup, roasted garlic and onion cream soup, and papazoi (sweet corn, barley, and bean). In addition, we will make some accompanying breads or salads. Limited to 12.
