Yoga for Women in Midlife

This mid-day class is for women in midlife who are interested in learning to relax the body deeply, reduce anxiety, and quiet the mind. The class will help increase your flexibility and enhance your overall wellness. We will practice viniyoga, which is a form of hatha yoga, but is unique because the body moves in concert with the breath. The class will include gentle stretches, basic poses, simple breathing techniques, and an introduction to meditation. Upon completion of the series, you will be familiar with a sequence of postures that you can practice at home. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a small cushion or pillow. Please don't eat before class. Limited to 16.
