Ahla Brookline Food Tours is operated by Julia Goldberg, MS. Ms Goldberg is a Brookline resident, whose passion is Brookline history and Jewish food. Julia has 5 years of professional teaching experience at Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. From 2005 Julia is working for MTTC, University of Massachusetts, as Programs and Marketing Manager, where she organizes conference and programs for various NE communities. During her 12-years career, Julia has done numerous presentations, lectures, and demonstrations. Julia is fluent in English, Russian and Hebrew.

In this multi-dimensional walking tour of historical Brookline, you will discover traditional and modern Jewish cuisine. You'll visit Zaftig's, the Butcherie, Kupel's Bagels, and many other favorite shops and restaurants specializing in Jewish cuisine in Brookline. As we walk, we'll stop for tastes of appetizers, soup, meats, desserts, and finally, wine. You'll receive cooking tips, learn about kashrut rules and Jewish holidays, and hear interesting stories about the owners of Brookline establishments and other famous residents of Brookline during the 18th through 21st centuries.
