Elzbieta Hincke, a native of Poland, grew up in the Gdansk area and later moved to Poznan where she received a degree from Adam Mickiewicz University. Prior to moving to Boston, she worked for a decade as an English and Polish language instructor in Warsaw. In her 17 years at the CCAE, it has been her goal to make learning Polish as pleasurable an experience as possible. Her other priority has been bringing the Polish culture, past and contemporary, closer to the students. She enjoys reading and spending all her vacations in Poland.

Through situational dialogues and texts, we will cover grammar and pronunciation in this introduction to the Polish language, which is spoken by three-and-a-half million people in the U.S. alone.
