Whether you photograph with a film or a digital camera, you still have to think about composition - the visual language of photography. In this course, we will observe and consider the elements of light, space, movement, point of view, shape, line, and balance in our seeing as well as in the final photograph. There will be exercises, assignments, discussion, and critiques. Please bring camera and two pieces of past work to first class. All levels welcome. You must have basic knowledge of your camera. Limited to 15.
