In this course, we will play with techniques using patterns, colors, and materials as a springboard to create abstract and pictorial scenes that we may then turn into wall hangings, pillowcases, table-runners, and more. You'll be coached in design, composition, application, and assemblage, while working with special fabrics, text, images, lace, ribbon, and other fun items. We'll do a mix of hand sewing and machine sewing. No prior experience sewing or drawing is necessary, just bring your great imagination. Limited to 10.
