Sue Katz

Instructor bio [+]

Sue Katz is a future member of Bloggers Anonymous, but until she faces up to her addiction, she can be found at www.suekatz.com. She has lived, published and done professional editing on various continents, been a martial arts master and a global volunteerism expert, but has now settled down to a life of writing about sex, aging and memories of revolutionary times in Cambridge. She teaches writing at CCAE and elsewhere, as well as senior fitness and ballroom/latin dance (she leads, of course).

Get your writing out of storage. You have things you want to say. You have a facility with words. But life does not allow you the space to get it down on paper. Come to this hands-on interactive course and get your writing juices moving, lubricate your literary synapses and start the flow of prose. We'll write in class, read to each other, and use peer feedback to turn the beginnings into pieces. Two pieces of your work get red-penned by a professional writer/editor, and you get in the habit of remembering that you love to write. Limited to 10.
Sec. 01: 4 Tuesdays, 11:00 am-12:30 pm. Begins Mar. 30, 42 Brattle St. | $107
